Yes it was me.

Aphids, bugs, have sucking mouth parts, in this case for drinking plant sap.
Lady BEETLES are beetles, have chewing mouths parts, in this case for chewing aphids :twisted:

You can buy lacewings in Australia though and they munch aphids really well.

I found the lazy method worked well for me.

I did nothing, and one day I spotted lady bugs, and the aphids started dying off.

Probably not the most scientific method though.
