Thanks Urrazeb
I really want the giant 6ft large flower as they will be in front of a 6ft fence.

:dontknow: You made me feel a little better katmac I don't know what went wrong with them last year
The only thing I can guess is the seeds were out of date or they got cooked in the shed (A reminder to keep seeds in a cool spot in laundry not hot shed)

Is this what you're looking for RB:

https://www.facebook.com/13720939299814 ... =1&theater

It only got to about 5ft tall (I didn't pamper it, in fact I neglected it) but it had a trunk like a Brickie's forearm and one large flower about the size of a dinner plate, as well as a few very small flowers close to the trunk... and the seeds are huge.

I don't know the variety, or it's history, it just came up on it's own out of some horse poop I brought in for the veg garden. It popped up in a bit of the veg garden that I was leaving fallow, I left it to grow, but didn't fertilise or pamper it, so it possibly could've reached 6ft or more with some love.

I have pics of the flower on the home puter, I've been meaning to post them on my FB page for a few days, I'll do it this evening when I get home, so you can see the size of it.

Most of the seeds have been fed to our Sun Conure, but I did collect some, you're more than welcome to some, but I can't vouch for how the next generation will turn out. PM me your postal details if you want them.

Good to hear... :thumbright: ...for their size the seeds felt a bit light, I was worried they weren't viable.
