Came back from a week vacation and the cantaloupe on one side of my grow bed is showing some issues. Not sure if it is a bug/bacteria/fungi/etc.

Looks like this A fungal problem  http://urbanext.illinois.edu/hortanswer ... ogenID=127 Seaweed strengthens the plant cell walls and changes the pH of the leaf surface making it less attractive to the fungal spores |

Looks like a fungus to me. I can't grow them this time of year...too hot/humid. Remove infected leaves, spray with bicarb, milk, or approved fungicide and pray. Increase air circulation if possible will also help. |

That sucks. My reading is not promising on getting rid of it. These plants are trellised so there is great air circulation. I'll add some seaweed into the water, cut back the infected area and try to find an aquaponics safe fungicide. |

Potassium bicarbonate is an ap safe fungicide. In Australia they sell it as ecorose. I ordered generic potassium bicarbonate off of amazon. |
