When adding a seaweed extract/fertilizer (like Seasol) what is the best way to apply? Foliar directly to the leaves of plants OR directly into water based on system water volume?

Trying to give plants a boost.

I think it's a personal preference. Both methods have worked well for me.

Rairdog told me about adding a cap full to grow beds where water comes in. I did that several weeks ago and have noticed a substantial difference. I still add some to sump to try to filter through towers

+1 with Rairdog & East

Using it as Foliar sprayed directly onto the leaves is fine also, just be careful it burn if you over do it and don't spray in the sun on hot days.
