At what size do you transplant your seedlings into your rafts for DWC systems?

I've done anywhere from 2-5". Just depended on when I found time to move them out of seed trays. Too big, takes more time to clean dirt off, too small, you need to be careful planting and maybe have to water from top once or twice during the day if it's hot. I think 3" seems to be about right...depending on plant. A 3" lettuce, no problem, a 3" chive, might need a little more time.
