Silverbeet (chard), spring onions, chives (both onion and garlic), celery. These survive all year round once established and often reproduces on their own seeds. Kang Kong also do well in the summer months. Apart from silverbeet and kang kong where starting from seed is fine (because their seeds are bigger), best to use seedlings for the above.
