I got some book vouchers for chrimbo so am on the hunt for some good gardening books (Australia specific preferred) on the following topics: Growing Fruit trees Propagation Seed Saving Companion planting Pests and treatment I think the "The Complete Book of Fruit Growing in Australia" by Louis Glowinski is good for fruit growing, though would like to hear other peoples recommendation if they know of good books. I've come across lots of average books, including numerous dodgy re badges of UK books where they change a few terms and push it onto the Australian market. Thanks Matt |

"Yates Garden Guide" may push Yates products but it is a good Australian focussed book and it isn't over the top with advertorials. Heaps of good info on just about everything and well worth having in the library for the price. |

It's the first proper gardening book I received, and was a massive help when I was starting out. However, I find these days, the net has far more information available. |
