im not sure if this is right spot to ask this but here goes I can grow anything in dirt but my yard is in full shade most of the day and I just built a climate controlled hot house , My question is how many grow lights do i need my beds are 4x10 hydroponic tubes , I have (4) 4 bulb florescence lights with 2900 lumen bulbs in them |

Yesterday I just added T5 florescent lights to my system.. from everything I read you want them as close as possible.. roughly 6-8 inches above the plants... 2-3 inches for seeds and seedlings.. but you want to hang the lights on some sort of raising system where you can move them up as the plants grow... I hung mine on a piece of 1X2.. then designed a notch system to keep raising the light as I needed.. That's all I got so far.. hope this helps...
