I found this on my purple sprouting broccoli plant (2years old now) I guess its a testament as to why its doing so well considering how much I neglect it. I hope the grubs will transfer to my AP set up. I think they are pupating now -see webbing.

I think you will find that parasitic wasps laid eggs inside the caterpillar, once their larvae emerge from inside the caterpillar they spin a web pupate and emerge as tiny little wasps. Here is a vide, not for the fainthearted bu I love it. I have similar photos of all stages.

I have picked the leaf they are on and it's now in my AP set up. I hope the emerging wasps will hang around although its quite fun squishing the caterpillar eggs anyway. Thanks for the video that's great.
