Good evening everyone!

So my indoor system has been chugging along quite smoothly for my first run! Plant growth is massive, fish are happy, water chemistry is stable!

But my lettuce plants are growing like strange mutants! Huge spurts of growth between each leaf. Also, about 2 weeks ago the newest leaves started appearing with tiny brown dots on them. The dots fade away after about 3-4 days as the leaf matures. You can see both in the photo below.

What would cause this? Initially I thought it was just because they were reaching for the sun. But they've gotten decent light lately, so I'm guessing it's some sort of nutrient imbalance.

ph is 6.9
Ammonia is 0.25
Nitrites are 0.00
Nitrates are around 80-100

Last time I buffered the pH up I used 1/4 tsp of Hydrated Lime. Would this result in such strange growth?

Cheers!

Looks like a light issue or the wrong season for it. Looks like its trying to run to seed

yep, lack of light, the plants are reaching for the light and the internodal distances are increasing.
