My stevia plant started browning at the ends. The other plants don't have this.
I tried attaching a picture of the plant and 1 of the system. We'll see if they come out right.
I shouldn't be missing nutrients but then I don't really have a way of measuring trace nutrients.

My lights might too close, but the other plants haven't shown this, yet anyway.

Yes everything is tall, insufficient light. I started with 4 T-8 bulbs for lights.
Then changed to 8 T-5 high output.
Temperature of a thermometer under the light is about 75 f

This system is 100% indoor.
1 pea gravel bed, flood drain
2 pipes, basically NFT
Feeder gold fish, tetra, snails in the fish tank underneath

Its been a fun experiment.

Hardware store just started stocking stevia and when I went back a week later many of the pots had been stripped of leaves from everyone sampling a taste. Sorry no help to you though

Ya, I had to sample a leaf. Then I was telling everyone else. Oh ya gotta try this.
I'm not surprised at all that the store plants were barren.
Haha

The leaves do look a little anaemic, might be lacking something, though generally that sort of brown dying patches in leaves is a fungal or bacterial problem..
