New to AP and I have plants starting to overtake GB. I was curious if I can trim my veggies b/c I am worried that I am going to have jungle very soon. I read that 8 inch spacing is adequate. That is what I did but things are getting real tight.

Sort of depends on the plants your growing... Do you have a picture?

You can have very dense plantings in AP because they get all the water and nutrients they need with less space. I like to trim mine enough that they get air in between them, when they get dense.

Depending on what you have growing you can take only what you want and leave the rest of the plant to continue to grow. E.G.- celery, lettace etc. You just take off the amount you want from the outside of the plant and come back at a later date when you want somemore. Sure keeps it fresh, better than a fridge!!
