Hi Wes, I've recently planted a dwarf lemon and a dwarf lime tree. I've also got a grape vine and mulberry cuttings. I've just planted carrot and beetroot seeds. As to their success, they haven't been in long enough yet to tell, but the fruit trees seem to be going alright so far. Welcome to the forum |

Wes I think Jim was trying parsnips in perlite (see Jims System), not sure of progress and Gary Donaldson is growing carrots in his coco peat beds. |

I planted some radishes about a month ago. The first one has fattened up above the gravel, and it looks like that's how the others will form, too--above the gravel. I'm not sure if that's because the gravel was hard for them to grow in, or because my light level is low and they cam up spindly. The leaves are very lush, and the roots are slow to fatten, it seems. Probably because I have more nitrogen than other nutrients. However, the fish love the radish leaves, so all is good. |
