 Post subject: Oxygenating plants?

Location: France
Would adding oxygenating plants into the fish tank:

A) increase oxygen levels (and increase resilience in case of short power outages)
B) use up nutrients otherwise destined for the grow beds
C) a bit of both
D) some other side effect I've not considered

At night oxygenating plants will use oxygen rather that create it.
