So I'm new to AP and I don't want to overstock my FT. I guess I want to err on the side of under stocking my FT, not only for the fishes sake, but I think it will be less stressful for my too

Question: What plants do best with low stocked FTs? Or are there certain plants I should stay away from?

leafy plants would be good, they will just grow slower.... Perannual herbs (oregano, chives, mint) will also grow slower until the fish get bigger and supply more nutrients. If whatever you plant doesn't grow very well then you can foliar spray with a seaweed solution like 'seasol'

All plants... you don't need to stock very highly at all ... to get abundant and prolific growth...

All sorts of onions seem to grow well in my systems even when other plants are slow,

Look just what is growing in 150 litres of expanded clay powered by 2 catfish. Garlic chives, celery, dill, grenn and purple basil, oregano, peas, lettuce and chives.

This one is fed by two black bream and the list of plants growing include red and green lettuce, chives, oregano, thyme, dill, parsley, silverbeet, celery, beetroot,green and purple basil. Well somedays I even get surprised.
