My cucumber plant was growing good for over a month, now its all yellow and not doing great. I added MaxiCrop seaweed+iron and also i dose my water with another liquid seaweed couple times a week.

My two bean plants are also yellow...
Is my seaweed+iron strong enough?

Any pics Burt?
How many fish do you have and how big are they.
Is your system very old.
If your Ph is high maybe you might need to up your dose of Iron to enable plants to uptake nutrients. A lot of people use Chelated Iron which in Oz we can purchase in a powdered form from hardware or nursery. At the moment I am adding 3 heaped teaspoons per month to my 1600 lt tank / system. My Ph is a bit high at 7.8

Fairly new to Forums, so not sure if I am doing this right... We have had issues with our plants, we planted 8 cucumbers and 8 zucchini's - 4 cucumbers survived and only two zucchini's.. Our plants are looking rather average. We have a 1500 litre system with two grow beds and 19 Barramundi. Our Ph is around 7.6 and has been for a while. We have struggled to get our kH to 3 (originally 0), and our Nitrates are around 120ppm... I am not big on chemistry, but can I add the Chelated Iron which you were previously discussing, and does that affect fish at all, and or other levels - as they all seem to be intwined with each other.. Our pH was around 6 when the kH was 0 (fish dying at that time). Nitrites and Amonia all ok?

Cheers
