Not sure if this has been presented here before, or even of it's particular applicability to AP, but I thought I'd share this excellent site... http://www.pfaf.org/user/default.aspx Cataloging some 7000+ species of plant, many lesser known, from the most edible to the most medicinal, the project was founded by (aptly-named) botanical pioneer Ken Fern, who also distilled his knowledge into a fine book on the field, and was also one of the subjects of a wonderful documentary on sustainable food gardening in England, which can be seen in full here. |
