That looks like a great investment at $9.95.... I'll be checking that out for sure. Anyone have other preferences for "organic" trace element fertilizers?

Janet, you are always first to jump on threads... does the forum call your beeper (do beepers still exist?) when someone posts? :P

Well, the Aussies are all asleep at this hour, so they leave me in charge ;) . Also, things at work are really really slow for me right now. I need to be close to the computer, so inbetween things at work, I check the forum and research AP stuff. When things pick up at work, you won't see me on here nearly so often.

How about adding some seasol organic seaweed fertilser? Doesnt that have all the things plants need? Whenever mine look abit yellow or sad I add seasol - I bet its got lots of minerals coming from seaweed. - I'll check the pack next time I go outside for potassium levels.

there is soluble sulphate of potash.

I've put seasol in my system from the day I planted the first seedlings. Judging by the number of flowers I have on the tomatoes, seven weeks on, I think there is enough potassium in my system.

What about Azomite? It's a fertiliser AND a food supplement, and has been successfully added to fish food, so putting a few teaspoons in won't be likely to harm fish. The website has a mineral breakdown.

Dad's going to buy a small pot (450g = $16.50 inc postage) and see if it increases the vigour of his plants, which are looking pretty awful at the moment. We think we might add a teaspoon or two each day, just sprinkled on the growbed.
