Previous - 18.35

+ 4.2
+ 1.3

Total = 23.85

The plant has died off a lot, one half of it is pretty much dead, but there is new growth and new tomatoes on the northern side of the bush, there's still going to be a fair few more kilos before the plant is ready to pull up.

The harvest is suffering a bit because of rats getting into the tommies, and then the dog chasing after the rats, breaking the branches off... :? I'll try and get another pic up soon.

Previous 23.85

1.0
1.0
1.0

Total 26.85

Started picking just 1kg at a time to make recording easier... :)
I've lost so many to the rats it's just not funny. I think I'm just going to have to pull the plant out and weigh whatever tomatoes are left on it ATM.. I could leave it for longer and probably get more production out of it but the weigh in has pretty much been blown by the rats eating them.. There was a few weeks when I didn't pick any tommies, and I could see ones rippening on the plant, but they were disapearing as soon as they got any colour to them..

Perhaps you need a resident Tom cat to make those rats swim with the fishes ;) (Not literally obviously...)

Solution; 1 block of beer, few mates and an air rifle :D

Points for shooting rats.
Minus points for shooting Tommies. :?

Alright, I had been a bit lapse in wrapping up the tomato count on here... There were 2 more 1kg buckets, and the final pick of just over 2kg, bringing the total to over 30 kg...

If we were trying to be official, its 31kg rounded to the total kg produced at the end of the day.. This is not counting the extended family of rats that fed, bred and prospered on the tomato harvest over the past 6 months, I would estimate their harvest to have been well over 10 kg, so one might assume the plant produced well over 40kg. But, for the purposes of recording actual weight of edible tomatoes harvested from the single bush, it's 31kg.......

So who guessed the nearest amount?
