It was my stumpy-tailed blue heeler who ate the rockmelon. I've just caught her in the act. I suppose I'll have to fence the AP as well as the dirt vegie beds (sigh).

Don't know Jorgy, but how cool. Can you keep them in a bug catcher and keep us posted. I love growing eggs. At the moment I have 2 pupas in my bug catcher, they have shrunk to about 1-2cm after being the biggest fattest caterpillars that I have ever found at around 10cm long. :)

The photo's are a bit blurry Zman... but here goes:

Top one... ???... Some kind of piercing insect?

The middle one... I'm with Faye... it's a vegetable grasshopper, they have pointy heads.

Bottom one kinda looks like a cicada... but it's tiny if it is!
