Steve do the peas look better later in the day?

What C1 meant was:

Steve, do the peas have better rigidity later in the day?
or droop more in the morning

I found my peas and some lettuce did the same when the temp has been getting to 35 deg C in the hothouse...I ran the pumps on continuously and they became rigid again.

Thanks for bringing this up Steve because I had the same problem. I grew my snow peas in a growbed thats above my head and I let them grow downwards and not climb up. They grew reasonably well and had a reasonable amount of peas, but either my wife was pinching them or I just wasnt getting as many as I expected. But I too had a problem with them looking a bit dehydrated, like they wern't getting enough water even though I knew they were. I've got about 2ppt salt and I add an occaisional dose of seasol and iron. I did get a bit of black spot on them but I dont know if that would have any affect on the growing?

i dont think i'd have any more than 1ppt, and probably much much much less.

the broad beans seem to suffer the same if not more, but everything else is fine.

SP have heaps of flowers and they all seem to be setting
