I have a problem with Laksa. If I put it in the growbeds they grow like crazy and take over but if I put it in a floating pot in my fishtank they die... Have tried 3 times in a floating pot and they fail every time. :dontknow:

I've put a twig back into the growbed and just have to make sure it doesn't get out of hand.
Any ideas why they fail in the floating pot?

Off the top of my head I'd say that in the growbeds there would be a lot of water movement past the roots supplying DO and keeping them from getting gunked up with fine particles/slime/whatever. In the floating pot there'd be very little. What do the roots look like when you pull the dying plants out?
