Thats a first for me as well.. doesn't look like any normal tomatoes deficiency or disease I know of.. strange...

Another update,one of the remaining plants had Blossom end rot on much of the fruit,but just on this one plant,the others as you can see in the pics continue to flourish,the first pic shows a new cutting the third shows an earlier replacement,grown from a sucker.

If it was a Roma type tomato with blossom end rot they always seem more susceptible to blossom end rot. I've had the same thing happen in the soil garden where only one plant had BER and as far as I knew they had all been treated identically .
