 Post subject: Moldy seedlings

I just took out the arugula and planted half of the growbox with Mesclun lettuce seeds. 4 days later they have already started sprouting! They are roughly 1/2 inch or 1.5 cm.

My worry is that all of the sprouts have fuzzy stems. I do have what I believe to be mold in the pump tube. Could the mold now be growing on the plants themselves? I keep changing the tube. How am I supposed to get rid of mold???

We need pictures to properly diagnose the problem,but what you think is mould in the pump tube will be bio slime and if you can see it you must be using clear tubing which is not really ideal due to the growth off algae you will get.Fuzzy stems on seedlings,this is normal on some seedlings but as i say pics paint a thousand words.

Look for very light green aphid looking things.
A friend of mine has been pulling thistles out of his bed that have been covered in white fuzz, at first i thought either mould or mycelium.... But on closer inspection i realised it was some sort of sap sucking bug living on the roots and the white fuzz was thier doing.
