So i have a lovely pepper plant growing some fine green peppers. Sadly they just aren't getting fat. They continue to grow length wise but not get fat. Any reason why this may be?

Where did you get the seeds? They could have been mis-packaged, or if from last year's crop and that was hybrid, they are one half of that hybrid. ???

We bought these plants from a whole foods and just threw them in our system. I think that this may be the reason then
