today I finally found the motivation to pull out a sickly broccoli that was covered in whitefly and mealybugs. I decided to cut the main trunk and found an ant colony in the hollowed trunk! :shock: :shock:
I had no idea they were there as there were only a few ants wandering on the outside.


the white bits are ant eggs

goes to show how clever these little buggers are, flooding the growbed would have achieved nothing
