Gday all,

Im not sure if i read somewhere about people wanting to grow these.

I have found a shop that sells multiple varieties of chinese brocolli (kai lan).

In regards to growing these,

I just threw a bunch of seeds into my constant flood system and now i am over run with sprouts from the following

Kailan
kang kong
wombok (chinese cabbage)

The kang kong seems to go bananas, ill get up some pics in my grow thread once i put that up, but needless to say after a week or so they are already rocketing along.

When the plants are larger i will be able to give some away if anyone is local that wants a bunch that are already established. (they arent all going to fit in my bed once i space them out)

If anyones interested give me a PM for details.

Unfortunately the kang kong may die down over the winter months. You may be able to overwinter it in a warm environment but often it succumbs to the cold, if we get any this year. Great grower here in the warm months. It is a winner if you like steamed asian greens, I highly recommend it.

Snow peas go alright in aquaponics? Mines cycling at the moment and has a PH of 7.5 so its good akaline for peas.
