I bought some marsh mallow to plant in my garden this year but it looks like we'll be facing a second year of drought, hence not the best time to plant a water loving plant.

So I've been wondering if it works in AP? It seems like it would be perfect for it, but I can't find any information.

Thoughts?

I have them growing up here - just another 'weed' that I have to contend with, or so I thought. Just yesterday I saw this good weed info and it changed my view. They call it Mallow.

I hadn't heard of it before this year, either, but my daughter has ulcerative colitis and it is supposed to be good for that. Plus I'm getting intrigued by the idea of trying to make marshmallows the old fashioned way . . . when they used to be a way to treat coughs!

Well, I guess I'll throw one in and see what happens. I'm having a hard time finding much information on them at all, so I guess I'll just make it up as I go along. :?
