As the title says, does anyone grow calamondin via aquaponics? My dad planted a small calamansit (calamondin, but we call it calamansit) plant outside years ago and managed to keep it alive. He's been gone a few years now, but the plant is still there, except it's about 15 feet tall! It bears fruit year round and gets no special care whatsoever.

I'd like to take cuttings of it, get them started, and then employ them into an aquaponics system eventually, just to see how they will do. From what I've read, it is not a plant that cares to be soaked frequently, so I've no idea how it'll go.

I haven't seen anyone growing a Calamondin Orange but I know there are others that have tried Citrus plants so if no one answers you might want to look around for these.
