I saw one of those yesterday on a cooking show on pay tv Rick Stein's Mediterian or something. It was a lot smaller. They made it into a soup sort of thing and the leaves were used in a pasta dish.

Not sure about that one, but did find info on Zucchetta Trombolina Zucchini that can grow up to 3 feet long, some places say up to 4 feet. The plants are prone to climbing and it is an Italian heirloom...

Seems when they grow hanging they straighten out but when grown on the ground they grow in a circle. Could be fun if you've got lots of room.
