Hello all,

I have lost three Barra this season, (one today) to some kind of white scaly growth on the eyes and head that looks like it has blinded the Barra.

Any idea what that is, and what to do about it?

Water testing is all fine and they are all eating well.

I have 20 Barras in a 1000 lt tank and two grow beds.

Thanks,

Linda :(

Thanks for your quick reply. Much appreciated!!

Got them from Golden Pond.

I lost several at first. I think I put them in too soon and the water was still too cold, and maybe they were not so healthy when I got them too.

Garjntee it's fungus, but pic would help. Use flossy salt or pool salt that has nothing but salt if that makes sense
