Trolling the net to try and identify silver perch issue I am having. Had another death today and the perch had white cotton wool type fugus on it and the gills. I found this document form the NSW DPI which I think will be helpful for people. Not sure if it has been posted before.

http://www.dpi.nsw.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0005/209309/Silver-Perch-Diseases-Manual.pdf

Water quality is fine for me:
ph - 6.8ish
amm - 0
rite - 0.25 - 0.5
rate - 40ish
temp - 12
Next to no debris or uneaten food at the bottom of the tank.

the water temp is a bit low, but hopefully will pick up again soon.

they are all in aseparate tank, so if I lose another, i will isolate the tank, chuck in a few extra air stones and salt it to 7ppt for 2 days, then drain half and fill, which will get it to 3.5ppt, then drain 1/2 and fill again after 2 more days to get salt down to 1.5 ish. I will then connect back to the system and hopefully the diluted salt will not affect my strawbs!

Hopefully no more deaths in the next few days!
