this it the first time I've heard of fish being bathed! Maybe the water was too hot? You have to check the temperature with your elbow... boiled tuna anyone? |

I believe they go into a smaller tank to be treated, rather than treating a whole big tank. Must have forgot to turn the air on or something....or overdosed them. |

The fact they mention treatment for parasites... I suspect they were being "salt bathed"... And some either got the salt concentration wrong... and/or forgot to monitor them... Perhaps as OBO says... they forgot to oxygenate properly... or turn it on... |

lost 3 goldfish out of 10 and 1 silver perch out of 40 in a 12 month period and that was devastating enough. Cant imagine how I would feel dealing with that !! |

Perhaps as OBO says... they forgot to oxygenate properly... or turn it on... Do you treat saltwater fish with salt? Dunno. Unfortunately, the article indicates the company is on a downhill spiral. Found the bathing answer, hydrogen peroxide. It works on catfish eggs. http://www.smh.com.au/business/sea-of-r ... 14zkm.html |

Duhh... should have twigged to that when it said "tuna".... Yep, stuffed up their aeration... all four times by the sounds of it... Hydrogen Peroxide is a "mega" oxidising compound... sucks the DO like a sponge sucks water... |
