Finally the deaths have subsided from my previous problems (http://www.backyardaquaponics.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=8014&start=30 ) started feeding them again yesterday, very small, gradual feeding to avoid it collecting on the bottom, and all looked good. Today I go out to give them some breakfast and there is one floating - not dead, but with a fluffy growth on its gills. Am just about to do the water test, but has anyone got a name & treatment for this: ![]() Thanks Andrew |

Thanks Gnash - very useful. I think it looks like an opportunistic fungus taking on an already-sick fish. I guess this one is for the compost heap. |

Would that fungus spread through your compost????? I would Freeze the little fella before adding it or get rid of it another way
