G'Day Gang,

Is there a better time to feed silvers. ie: morning or night?

Cheers

I try to feed mine in the morning and arvo. The arvo feed is nearly always longer. :)
With the temps dropping off lately the amount they are taking has dropped off a lot.

Yep, you'll probably find they wont feed in the morning since the tank temps have dropped.... so feed once a day late arvo...

Curnow, mine definitely feed better in the late afternoon and into the night. Even last night with the temp at 16ºC they were feeding well at 9:00pm

my tank water is sitting at between 11 and 15c.... the silvers havent eaten much at all the past few weeks... i now feed them once every three days..

reading aquamads thread..will have to consume redclaws before temps hit 10c

but when they were eating... late arvo was the best for mine...

My Water temps are still up around 19c But I have found their appetite has tapered off a fair bit.
I will try them a bit later tonight. :thumbright:

The dip in temp at the end was when I removed the probe from fish tank

Cheers
