Hi there, just wondering if anyone has had problems with fish jumping out of their tanks before? Is it worth protecting against this or am I thinking too much? Cheers Shaun |

Fish tanks should have lids for many reasons. 1- think of it as an upside down trampoline to bounce the jumpy fish back down into the water rather than letting them go exploring to see what is on the other side of the tank wall. 2- Keep children, pets, and debris from falling into the tank. Could be handy to have a locking cover if the tank is not in a secured area. 3- shade over a fish tank is also a good idea to avoid algae problems. |

You can pickup bird netting from B for under $10, I think it's 5m x 5m. This makes a simple cover to stop the jumpers. |
