Please see pictures of super slimy fish and advise if this is fungus, and if so where do I get medication to treat?

After moving house, Nitrates have reached 320ppm with no plants in, furry solids had accumulated that I didn't notice, now resolved.

Rainbow trout still eating ferrociously on reduced feed until I build an upgraded system, but catfish are dying despite salting to 3ppt, and a 30 minute salt bath at 10ppt.

I read somewhere that this could be fungus, can anyone confirm?ImageImage

Sorry... have no expertise or experience with fungus.

But it's unlikely to be nitrates (on their own). Have not tested mine for a long time... having given up on getting them within the scale of the test kit and not noticing any problems with my fish or plants.

But tested again yesterday (diluting my sample 1:10 with distilled water) and they remain at least 400. Nevertheless, my 5 eel tailed catfish looked very healthy and were hungry when I gave them a feed this afternoon.

Images aren't showing for me but how small are the cats? If they are small they will die in the cold weather.

I've made some adjustments to reduce build up of solids which apparently can cause fungus problems.
I haven't bothered with medication because the sole surviving catfish seems to be resting in his favourite place on the pump (is that normal?) and or casually swimming around, especially at feed time.
Still slimy and mottled appearance, but I think it's clearing up. If I knew how to treat fungus I'd give it a shot to speed up the healing process.
