Hello everybody,
I'm carryong on a research on small aquaponic systems, whether they are sustainable or not. I want to place the fishes in tank with a diameter of around 80 cm. I've told that there might be problems with fish waste, in the sense that it could reside at the bottom and the fishes might die.
Does anybody experienced something like that? Do you have any suggestions?
Thank you in advance.

If the SLO or bottom drain is built correctly I don't see a reason for the fish waste building up. Unless you have chosen to place something like stones at the bottom of the tank.

Welcome.. I can only imagine that you have not looked too hard at this forum, because it is pretty much ALL ABOUT small aqua-ponics systems..

Try reading some of the ACTIVE TOPICS and look at the signatures and members systems and the magical variety and differences with what folk have working.
Mind you, we sometimes have absolute disasters.. .. :upset:
