| Post subject: | Cycling a new grow bed |
I finished a 2.5 X 7 ft X 9 inch grow bed, filled it with washed lava rock and water, seeded it with fish water from our koi pond bio filter and a little uran. How long should I leave it sit before I start cycling it in the existing koi pond? Should I start with a slow continuous flow or go ahead with the flood and drain? The bell siphon works great. Thanks Fishy John |

As long as your Ammonia and Nitrites are not too high, you can circulate it now. It should be fine with your established koi pond. |
