Hi Aquapons, A friend told me that this male was injured fighting and it healed like this. What did I do wrong - how can I prevent this happen in the future? separate the male and female, feed more... suggestions are very welcome. Thanks a lot for any support!

He just likes to talk out of the corner of his mouth I think that's pretty uncommon and you probably will never have it happen again anyway. |

first of all, thanks a lot for the respond. It worries me a little that you say it is pretty uncommon.. because in the meantime I have two fish with this problem! When the first one showed abnormality I didn't worry too much. But with the second fish I thought my fish are probably really sick - some sort of body deformation caused by a fish disease.... I do not know much about it, that's why I post in this forum. What also popped into my mind was some deformation caused by inbreeding. When my friend told me it is a healed injury caused by a fight, I was kind of relieved. But still I am keen to figure out what I did wrong or what I could do in order to not but the fish under such stress. Any ideas? Thanks for actively thinking about the challenges involved and coming up with solutions
