I found a yabby that wasn't doing so well the other day. It had molted a day or so ago and after molting had these extra white strands running down the side of it's body. It's really hard to explain so I took a photo. Any ideas what this might be and what I should do?

mate could you get a good clear close up? It looks like a parasite maybe? Does this look about right? http://medancrayfish.blogspot.com.au/20 ... asite.html |

Thanks for your reply. I don't think it is a parasite. It is a lot bigger and is attached to it's body. Here is a close-up.

Could it be that it's got some of it's gills stuck on the outside of it's shell after/during moult. I have seen something like that before. |
