| Post subject: | swollen catfish |
Two days ago i moved some small catfish to an other tank because the tank was getting to full. The tank hey moved is an different aquaponic system but it has the same temperature and a small ph change (0,5). at first the fish seemed fine in there new environment but then a fish jumped out of its tank. i thought it was from the stres of being moved to a new tank. so put a net over the tank to keep them from jumping out. but one of the fishes managed to jump on the net overnight. i don't know how long it had been there before i found it. but it was still moisture. and when i put it back into the tank it quickly swam away again so assumed it was okay. but that evening i found one of the fishes in the tank next to the one they where in. so one of the fishes had jumped out ones again. the still eat though. and now one of the fishes died. it was really swollen. and i have no idea what the problem might be.
