Post subject:  Barra laying on side on the bottom with swollen eye

HI,

this has probably been posted but in my moment of distress I'll ask the question and then search for the answers.

I have two Barramundi out of 50, that have started to lay on the bottom. They look dead until you try to scoop them with a net and they swim off in crazy circles out of control. I scooped them out of the tank and have them in an aerated bucket but they are both laying on the bottom. One of them has a swollen looking eye that is cloudier than the others. Photo below

All chemicals are normal. PH, KH, Ammonias etc.

I am really at a loss. Any help would be much appreciated.

Salt bath for diseases should typically be 3ppt to 6ppt. If it does not work, know some fishes are not meant to make it.

Hey thanks for the help on this. The fish did not make it but that is only 2 in 50. Still a mystery
