not sure if this is a big issue or not but. I just started up my IBC system I used the full 275 gallon tote for the tank with a left over grow bed from my last try. I have 12 4 inch channel cats and about 12 tilapia ranging in size from 1 inch to 4. I have fed them yesterday and today but none come up to eat. I can see them deeper in the tank but no feeders? PH is 8 temp is 78 and I have 2 stones bubbling. should I be concerned yet? Oh I have had 2 dead fish one catfish looked like he had a wound on his back( net)? and a small tilapia got sucked into the pump it is enclosed now.

Cliff, no expert on the fish side, but would say don't worry. They can go days without feeding, and sometimes, just aren't "on their feed". Temperature, barometric pressure, etc, all come into play. My guess is try later in day or next day, and they'll eat. Just don't keep putting food in that they don't eat. better to under feed then over feed. JUst like when you go fishing, some days they bite, some days they don't. :)
