I have a tank with about 50 2-3 month old tilapia fingerlings in and some of them keep making a funny movement. They sort of semi-turn on their sides and swim round the tank really quickly and then turn back up again and act fine. I don't know what this is... is it bad or good and am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any help. |

I think that they are just eating algae. |

A pic of your system might help. We need to know all the dimensions and parameters of your set up and water quality. Lots more information required. |

It never hurts to salt up just to be safe. |

Do you have a light on the side of the tank, I find when I have a light on the side of the tank that sometimes the fish swim as if that was up. |
