I have a 250g. i.b.c. setup.I recently added a 100watt heater which didnt seem to effect the fish.A fishtank expert here in town suggested I ad a 260gph pump to the tank just to circulate the water.I did this several hours ago. When I checked on the fish 6 had jumped out of the tank>Does anyone have any ideas as to why?
Thanks,
Mark

What kind of fish? You should have some sort of cover, both to keep fish in, and predators out.

My fish are Blue Tilapia.Something about the circulation of the water freaked them out.I have installed screen around the entire tank.Hopefully this will solve the problem. It still stinks to see really healthy fish dead on the cement. Thanks for your reply.
