Hi, I am very new to this forum.
My tilapia have been affected by Fit Rot disease. The diseased fish water has been siphoned to grow beds. I was wondering if plants would be still fine even after getting this disease affected water and also if plants are safe for people to eat.

Do I need to throw away all the plants in the growbed also? if I do, how should I clean hydrotons and the grow bed? Do I need to use chlorinated water to disinfect everything?
Thank you so much!

Hi mate
everything is ok to eat, dont stress (except the fish if they are alrwady dead). Salt your entore system to about 5 ppt, and leave it there. you will lose a few plants, but it will help the fish to recover. good luck :)
