I am thinking it probably looked furry in the water, check the others and salt the system as much as 3ppt. 3kg per thousand litres, watch the other fish. Could have been damaged by another fish, bird or crustacean or scraped on something. :dontknow:

it did look fury in the water i also have a couple more fish that have the same problem.
they tend to swim at the top for a couple of days then they go bellie up this is the 3rd fish to have done this..
it looks like it has been nibbled on by a bigger fish.
when i fed them 2 days ago they hit the pellets like rockets (like they starving)

To protect the others you might want to remove the dodgy ones so that it doesn't spread, but I would still add salt.

looks like it could be saprolegnia fungus, or 'sap'-we had that early on when we first added fish and the water was a bit too cold (so stressed the fish). Apparently it is usually present, but only becomes a problem like this if the fish are damaged or overly stressed.
We used a salt bath up to 12 ppt for a short while, then put them in the pool with salt at 3ppt.

Good luck!
