Wow that crazy to watch! Id imagine one is eventually going to be the winner so I personally would separate them or they may just keep tearing each other apart and you may end up loosing both. Thats just weird... |

i only have about 20 trout and between them they are putting between 80-100 grams of feed a day. plus they would be the larges ones in the tank. I'll check on them tomorrow and see if they are still fighting... |

It's just two young kids who are in love but the only way they know how to show it is to beat on each other. How do you plan to separate them? Do you have another tank or system? |

Yeah these guys are in my 1st system which is stocked pretty low. there is only 8 trout in the system. My larger system has the other 10 or 12 trout, I can slam one of them in there... I hoping to get some more trout and get my chilly tank up and running to get them over summer. |

chapter 8 in this pdf http://www.flinders.edu.au/about_resear ... elfare.pdf Is adressing the isue. You might actually have to low densiety stocking, IMO you can achive "peace" by puting a bigger (dominante) in with the two fighters. You should interven split them or jncrease stock both will work is my experience, do nothing and you might loose the hole badge good luck |
