I like all kind of life forms, spiders being one of them.

Have you ever felt pity for a shop keeper when you see the shop is always empty? Thinking... he's not gonna be able to survive, his business is going down... well that's how I feel with spiders sitting on their web, patiently waiting for something to eat. Even if they don't eat they have to create a new web regularly because it loses efficacy, adding to the already bad situation.

So yeah I sometimes feel pity for a lonely spider struggling to survive, once you find spider beautiful it's easier to find the avatar quite amusing.

Speaking as someone who has studied spider social behaviour and finds them incredibly fascinating I still find that picture freaky :shudder:
